Genevieve commissioned renowned Denver architect Maurice Briscoe and noted Scottish carpenter, Jock Spence, to construct Greystone which was completed in 1917. She entertained through the 1920’s Prohibition Era and hosted notable guests such as Mae West and Groucho Marx.
